I was looking at these things - I suppose the in USA/Europe/Australia etc these are a great idea but if you fire off a SOS in the middle of some remote part of the Andes, Siberia, Sahara etc, who does the SOS go to and would anyone really come looking for you?

I bought the inReach explora, I used it last weekend, I'm very impressed with a very good choice, thank you guys for the great advice, I'll be after some other items and I think I may be posting for advice on here.
