Looking for company to go east.Planing to go east may/june next year.
Fr Sweden-turkey- Iran-The Stans- Mongolia- Vladivostock. From there maybe Japan or Korea. Open for everything.
Also Looking for the possibility to go to North Korea fr the Russian side.
After that Vietnamn- Thailand- Australia and--------
2 months or 2 years ??? Who nows........
Plan to ride my Gs1200. Been with me on the Fr Alaska-Ushuia and many more places

I'll be interested to know if anyone from the forum is planning to do this in 2016 about the same time, possibly be interested doing some of this route with me, I'm planning most of the trip across Russia will be camping, then from there I will work on things, the likely hood is I will mix it up a bit if I cross the pond.

Will be doing the same trip in 2016. Shipping my bike to Europe this September and will leave it in northern Italy to resume next Spring. My plan is the same as yours; ride to Vladivostok and ship my bike back to North America. I'll be riding with hard luggage and full camping gear. If you haven't changed plans, lets get in contact.

Hi Owen,

Should be in your part of the world by mid / late May 2016. Will make contact when I am closer. I also have a school friend who lives in Kelowna
and he rides a Cruiser. Hope to stay with him for at least one night.

I'm planning my trip along the same lines as you.
I'm on a 2009 tenere 660. just getting it all rigged out with sat nav, lights, engine protection etc.
I'm waiting on the sale of my house then I'm free to go with no return date.

I'm based in East Yorkshire mate so would be easy to meet and discuss some plans.

I'm in Manchester, currently out of country, but want to drop things late Spring for a big trip. I thought I'd register interest, sounds like a great plan! Not sure how much commitment I can make right now due to work etc.

Also on an XT, although a XT660Z '08.
