Wondering if anyone around Cordoba.
Anyone know about BMW dealers in Argentina? I hear there is a Dakar Motors in BA that is good. Any others in other cities? My old beemer, a 93 R100 GS has been great on my journey from Canada but needs a couple things looked into, preventative maintenance being h key word here. Especially as I am giving some thought to riding back up through Brazil to Venezuala and Colombia if feasible.\

Cheers
Larry

Hey Larry,

In regards to dealers, I thought there was about 4 in the country but the website indicates 6 or 7. Some of them may be combined auto/motorcycle dealers which may mean some have a robust motorcycle shop or not much at all.

A good bet is Buenos Aires. If you require something that a BMW shop is best at providing, you can try Cordasco Motohaus (near the downtown airport). In regards to non dealers, Dakar has assisted many a moto traveller and is a great resource.

Argentina Dealers

There's a good shop in Rosario but it's not an actual BMW Dealer. I can't never get a hold of Dakar Moto's and they don't answer e-mails often, but I've been to their shop and it looked like a good place, that is if you can get in touch with them.
:D

In Cordoba, "Auto Munich" at Sagrada Familia 332 is both cars and motos and has a good shop, gave us good service/quick repair when passing through.
