Anyone living/traveling in Japan?

Let's meet.

I am currently in the north western part of the island. Crossing to the eastern part later today to have a look at the Fukushima area and after that ride down to Tokyo. I still have half a bottle of 7-Eleven whiskey jeiger, got stories to tell and I enjoy long walks on the beach.

Hit me up, cheers.

If you are passing through the Nagano prefecture area near Karuizawa or Komoro, let me know. I am not able to have guests stay over at the moment, but I am sure I could get a friend nearby to take you in.
If you are still around in October, there is a travelers' meeting near Mt. Fuji.

Thanks for the info.

I will be in the area during the next week or so. I will let you know. I think I'll miss the meeting just by a week or two. But if I'm still here then I won't.

I'll let you know something once I head in to that direction. That venus line isn't going to ride itself.

Any tips on getting a sim card without much hassle and ¥?

You can try Softbank. I think they have a prepaid SIM service.
However, they usually require ID with a Japanese address.
If you will be in one place for a while, you can try this:
b-mobile VISITOR SIM | b-mobile wireless internet (Data only. No voice.)

Don't forget that even Hondas require petrol next time!

Yes, until I can afford a new Japanese bike.
Unfortunately, many of the good Japanese dual sport bikes are NOT available in Japan.
