Anyone touring west africa???
 

Hey guys

I am looking forward to travel from Ghana to south Africa in July..
This is my first time and need all the education i can get....
This trip starts in july , so i will keep updating this post from time to time ..
I will be glad to meet some travelers on the same route .

Hi Sway. I'm touring West Africa now. I set off from England nearly 7 months ago. I'm currently stranded in Accra as the Benin embassy 'lost' my passport :stormy: and it looks like I'm going to be here for at least another 4 weeks until all that's sorted with.

I don't know how fast you travel but seeing as it took me 6 months to get to Ghana you very well may catch up with me if I leave Ghana in May.

What's your route?

we are crossing over to marocco tomorrow and then about 2,5 - 3 months more or less off the top of my head before arriving in Ghana..

We will be setting of to Morocco in September and crossing into Mauritania early December. Did you have any issues with Mauritania (borders or otherwise). Any advice?
