Anyone want to tour America in 2012??
 

I would like to tour a different country next year by motorcycle. I want to swap bikes with someone in Europe, Asia, Australia, anywhere? I have done this successfully in western Europe and New Zealand. I have two (tour-ready) bikes to chose from. One is a 2003 Honda ST1300 and the latest is an 08 Versys. Both of my previous swaps were on ST1300s but I think I would prefer a smaller, lighter bike if I get the opportunity to do it again. If anyone here is interested or know someone who might be, just PM me for a discussion of the possibilities. It will save you a ton of money over a rental type of arrangement.

Can't help but notice that you want to swop bikes across continents. There is another section within the HUBB for this which may get you a better response than "traveller seeking other travellers".

Just a thought and:welcome: here. Because you have just a few posts I believe that PMs won't work for you, yet.
