Around the UK Coast ..anticlockwise - March 2011
 

Whilst I have the time, the inclination and permission from 'her' . I intend doing a round England, Scotland & Wales trip in March. Cold enough to say it was difficult, warm enough to avoid hypothermia.

Free camping, occasional B&B, stopping in Friends gardens. Warm up for the long trips ahead.

I intend to start in Yorkshire (ish).. happy to ride with anyone with the time,inclination and, of course, permission.

Its all planned out....wake up one morning, turn left out of the drive and keep going. Stop after turning left into the drive again.

Sounds interesting. I'm planning to go around Europe in March but that depends if my partner gets her visa (she's Thai and technically not eligible for it so we have to wait and see). If not we have said we'll go around the UK. The cold is an issue for her and I think Scotland is too much but might be up for joining you for some of the trip.

This sounds like a great trip and one I would like to do at some time. I would suggest that as you will be near to the sea for most of the trip spraying your bike with waxoyl or something similar before you start, I have lived near the sea and know what it can do to a bike.
