Australia east coast to Darwin
 

Just wondered if anyone is planning a ride from the Australian east coast to Darwin any time soon?

Hi Dave, what's happened - no one travelling through at present? :(


Am now back in Melbourne safe and sound, and can recommend your hospitality to any riders heading up that way - the Darwin climate is absolutely delightful at this time of the year compared with the wintry south.


Dave, also happy to say my wife has approved my leave pass for November /December so will be heading to Bali (direct from Melbourne) for 7 weeks riding the Indonesia archipelago east to west so may call in on the way home late December if you are around. beer

Still have a crew here, sorta and others bikes in the shed! Enjoying a tiny bit of solitude at present but it's not going to last long! Finally bit the bullet and bought a bike, flying to Qld on Friday to collect and begin the trek north!
