Bmw Gillette Wyoming Rally
 

I am planning to leave Omaha Nebraska on July 14 to ride to the BMWMOA Rally in Gillette Wyoming. I will ride straight across the Nebraska Sandhills and stay at Alliance (home of Carhenge) the first day. Second day I plan to take the back road to Ardmore South Dakota across the Pine Ridge and then through the Black Hills. I will enter Wyoming at Newcastle.

If you are going my way I would like the company. The Sandhills get a little lonely. Be sure to fill up your tanks at Broken Bow.

I ride an F650GS, but have no real long distance experience on a motorcycle. Although I have made the trip by bicycle 5 times. Its a long day no matter how you go.
