Central or South American Land Border Crossings May2021
 

Hello All,
Has anyone been Riding in Central or South America recently and has 1st hand info on Land Border Crossing with Motorcycles?
Are they Open/Close or do they accept Vax Cards?
I have been in Southern Mexico for a few weeks and like to get on the saddle again and RIDE.

In Colombia borders are closed, lockdown is at a high level (ICU occupancy where we live is over 94%), and just to add to the situation we've had road blocks on more or less all main roads for most of the last week. The last news on border opening was that the border to Ecuador would open at the end of the month - I don't think it will. The border to Venezuela was closed anyway and while the war zone continues it's not opening any time soon.

Re vaccinations, if the current rate continues we'll both be vaccinated by October 2022...
