I found it complicated because of the visa. For tourist visa you need a guide as for china. You can get a transit visa for 3to 5 days, but the ferry is really boring and does not give enough assurance to go outside turkmenistan on time. The dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
Crossing china you need to go with a group and anyway it takes a long time to get permit and it is very costly. For small group, it is 5000 £ one month. |
