Hi Ellen,
we are currently (and hurriedly) looking for an agency that can arrange our trip (Kyrgyzstan to Laos, around mid-May) for us. So far, we only have expensive, I mean really expensive offers. Can you tell me the name of your agency? And btw: do you know anyone who might be interested in joining Kyrgyzstan-China-Tibet-Laos in May/June? Thanks so much, Jo |
Important summary
Hi folks,
Some weeks has gone by since some of you were looking for other travellers who liked to join you. Could anybody please post, as a summary, all received lowest offered prices for the following trips/ please mention number of cars and people: Kyrgyzstan - Laos Kyrgyzstan - China, Tibet, Nepal Kyrgyzstan - China, Tibet, Nepal -> Laos Mongolia - China -> Laos I really need these information. Thank you very much. Cheers Thomas |
Agencies and offers
Hey Jo,
The best offer we got was made by Chinaoverland (China Overland) and we decided to join a group which was listed here: China Overland Hope you are going to find the right group on your favourite route. Ah, and Navo Tour was one of the cheapest offers we got (China Abenteuer Reisen, Trekking, Wanderung,Überlandtour, Festivalreisen, spezielle Reisen - NAVO) @Thomas: The best offer for our trip with 10 persons (5 vehicles) from Mongolia - China to Laos was around 3000€ per car! Good luck - cheers, Ellen and Jonas |
Re return trip
Hi Andy
Not sure if you have sorted your return trip out through China. We are entering China from Laos then heading for Kyrgyzstan. We plan to enter China 7th of May and take about 28 days to cross. We are using Navo tour company to sort things out but I am sure we still have time to change itinerary if you are interested. We are a couple with our own 4x4. Hope to hear from you. Simon |
Hi Simon - any anyone else following this!
Our plans have changed (again!), because our truck will not be ready in time we have put back our date for leaving the UK until at least July. So we now have to think about the best way to arrange things, we might aim for a short crossing of western China from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan and the KKH around the beginning of October and then look at arranging a 30 day crossing of China from Nepal to Mongolia in the spring of 2015, or possibly putting the trip off until 2015. We do need to share costs with others for China, so in the end the practicalities of forming or joining a group may well decide things. Andy |
