Camping and £80 a day will leave a huge amount for beer!!! Not sure whether you're planning on any motorways or not, but either way I'd go from Northern France straight across to Germany, possibly with an overnight in Luxembourg. Trier and Freiburg further south are both lovely (I do prefer Northern Germany to Northern France - personal preference). From there you're straight into Switzerland. I don't know whether you're into Cities, but Zurich is much nicer than Bern or Basel; again, just my preference. In Zurich, there's a good campsite by the lake (I forget the name, but could have a look if you'd like?). Some of the Northern Italian lakes would be worth a visit; I've only ever been to lake Como, but am going to Garda this year. Many will also mention the Dolomites, although I've yet to spend any time there.

I haven't had chance to go any further south east as yet, so can't comment on anywhere there. Wherever you end up, have a great :scooter:.

£80 a day will keep you in luxury once you get out of western Europe and even in much of it if you avoid cities and tourist traps.

Croatia:

The Croatian cost road is fab. All of it. But do go inland too, it's very different. Camp-sites generally are easy to come by, but can be pricey in tourist areas. In Dubrovnik/Split etc.... camping is well signposted. Split is less busy with tourists. Good biker cafe in Dubrovnik near cable car in old town ( signposted ).

Camping Solitudo ( the most attractive girl on reception you could wish to set eyes on )
Ulica Vatroslava Lisinskog 17
20000, Dubrovnik
Croatia

Camping Stobreč (less than 5mins by bike to town) (Good food/bar on site)
Svetog Lovre 6
21311, Split
Croatia

If you want a room in Split go to the roundabout at ferry port there are loads of ladies there who will let you a room for the night. Same in Dubrov. by the old town bus drop off.

Pula in northern Croatia on the coast, is worth a visit for the amphitheatre alone !

Plitvička jezera is great, but again entry pricey. ( £25 ish I recall? )
When in Croatia Karlovacko beer is the way to go. :thumbup1: ( I don't drink really but it is great ! )

Switzerland:

Geneve is one of my favourite places to stop on route to somewhere else..... There is a great little camp-site right on Lake Geneve. They give out free bus pass for the time you are there which will take you into the main city, the night life along the lake is wonderful. Loads of bars etc.... Pointe à la Bise, Chemin de la Bise 19, 1222, Switzerland
