Great Divide and Transamtrail
 

Leaving Seattle by 08/28/04. Ride to Montana then off pavement down the Great Divide to Colorado then take Transamtrail to Oregon. Bike is a DRZ400S. Will be combination camping and motel trip. Anyone interested and available?

Sounds like a great ride. If you stop by helena Mt. we have lots of room to stay and do any bike maint. Tommorow the temp is supposed to be in the 60s F with rain. Great riding weather.

Hey Bill, it's John H. Wasn't clear from your reply if you figured that out. Am also considering simple ride to Colorado by street bike possibly stopping by your place but not sure if it would be coming or going. Do you have any time for a ride?

Hello John, I have sundays and mondays off. We will be gone over labor day but otherwise will be around. I have been riding a xt350 yam. around and found some neat abandoned coke kilns back in on some barely passable two track. Ride safe.
