I´m Ricardo ad I´m traveling in a Suzuki DR 650 from Chile, through Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and now I´m in Machala, near Guayaquil, Ecuador.
I´d like to meet with someone around here to continue traveling to the north.
I´m flexible about the routes and timings.

Hi Ricardo, i´m in Quito at the moment on an old DR 750 having flown it out from the UK last month. When you say you are going north does this mean into central america?, or just Columbia way.
Right now i´m stopped here trying to find some way of flying the bike into Panama (not much luck at the moment, ANY help here would be good.) So it looks like i´m around for a few more days any way, so i´m up for a beer.

Hi Simon.
On year 2000 I went from Chile to USA in a Honda XR 600 and at this time I send the bike by air from Quito to Panama. No problem and not too expensive at this time. It seems now is more expensive.
Next week I want to continue my travel through Ecuador, Colombia and maybe Venezuela. At this point I will decide if I cross to Central America again. There is a way to cross from Colombia (near Santa Marta) to Panama in ship.
