Houston to Consta Rica December 2007
 

Hi
I'm planning a trip from Houston to Costa Rica leaving Houston around Dec 25, 2007. I'm looking for a riding buddy (1 or 2) that would like to do the trek together. This would be a one way trip for me and shipping bike back to USA or selling locally in Costa Rica. I'm originally from Costa Rica and fluent in spanish.

I am looking at riding into South America from Canada end of the year (with advance delivery of my bike to southern states before winter hits Canada), but thinking of after Christmas/New Years and all that. You flexible at all? I ride a BMW R100GS (93). Just did some riding in southern Africa last fall, going back this September for ride Capetown to Uganda, but home by December for a couple weeks before hitting out again for South America.
I usually ride solo but would like company getting through some of those Central American countries...

Hi, we just tried riding south but my bike broke down 3 days into the trip (ended up with a hole in my engine case and no clutch) so my riding partner is heading back right now and my bike is on a truck heading the states. We really want to do this trip and from what we talked it would have to be next year. Lets try to keep in contact and we'll see.

Is your departure set for Decemebr 2007? I plan on a one way trip from California to Costa sometime in July-August-Sept 2007. I am flexible. My spanish is intermediate - not good enough if I get into a tight spot.
