India April 2023 for the next year!
 

Anyone heading to India for 2023? I'm flying into New Delhi on April 9th 2023. My plan is to be traveling via KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle for the next year or 2 in the north Himalayan mountains for the summer and the south for the winter.

I'm an American coming from the states who's been RTW the last 7 years in Latin America, Europe, and Asia until the world shut down with the Rona lockdowns. I enjoy exploring ancient ruins, abandoned places, and other off the beaten path less tourist locations. When I'm out ridingthe bike I avoid the highway at all costs and try my best to stay on either the dirt trails or paved 2 lane twisties.

Love to connect with other like-minded adventure riders who want to explore Indian, Nepal, and possibly Pakistan [emoji1631][emoji100][emoji292][emoji2793][emoji625][emoji3460][emoji290]

I am also riding around India at the moment. I have been here apox 1year and am now in Srinagar. And will spend the next month or so riding to Leh then to Manali and then down the Spiti Valley to Shimla. So if our paths cross good to have a beer.

@gnarlynate are you registering it in New Delhi? Have you registered it on your own name? As I am excited to know that if a foreign national can register a motorbike on his name?

Yeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss I'm getting my KTM 390 Adventure fiiiinally registered in my name in Delhi. Took some time and paperwork but that's life.
