india- who is there and where to go?
 

Hi out there!
I am in Pakistan at the Moment, Rawalpindi, and will cross over to India in about one week. Think there are a lot of people, where are you? And, how is the wheather there? Want to stick mainly to the north, Himalaya and Nepal, but if it is too cold there now, i thought about spending 2-3weeks in Goa first, if possible, put the bike on a train for that, avoid 1500km of less interesting driving and save petrol costs. Possible? Any experience?

- Amritsar: Its where the Golden Temple is.
- McLoad Ganj : Home of Dalai Lama.

From Amritsar there is train almost everywhere.Lucknow-Varanasi-Delhi etc.You can check from www.indianral.gov.in. About the possibilities of placing the bike , in am working on it.
