Iran, summer 2017 4X4 medium camper truck
 

Thinking about exploring Iran for a month this summer. Getting there via Black Sea ferry to Georgia, look around, then Armenia, then Iran. Have contact for temporary import if no Carnet.


I don't travel fast; rather soak in the country than see it flash by. Lots of things to see.


Not particularly interested in driving across Turkey again on almost perfect roads. Certainly not there and back as well anyway.

I'm in Tehran now. Bike flies in on Monday. If you are still doing your trip you can PM me and maybe we can travel together. Only have about three weeks though before Turkmenistan.

Changed my mind when I found I had to have an itinerary and stick to it .
Maybe you wont need one but they tie you down at the borders with a official itinerary.
Going to west Africa in December instead.
