Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Oct/Nov 2008
 

Hi,

I will be in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in Oct/Nov 2008. Just wondering if there are any other bikers in that region during this period. Would be happy to meet up.

Strange timing
 

It gets cold in October. By Novermber it will be freezing:

Both taken late October in Southern Kazakhstan - temp ranging from -10 at night to +2/3 in the day in the plains ...

As for going into the mountains of Kyrgyzstan then??? - Ballsy!!!

We (my wife and I) are hoping to be there around the same time. We are travelling in a 4x4 though, not bikes.

We're hoping to cross the Pamir, depending on weather!!

I just gotten my Krygyzstan visa today, will be there on 2 oct. Do you know when will u be there? Also, in which direction will u be travelling the pamir highway?

Hi everyone...does any available info about Kyrgyztan?, seems pretty difficult to find here at Spain..and also in the net:( !!! (should I learnt ???) The point is that I would like to go on July-August for 15-20 days, and driving a motorbike ( not mine, but rental motorbike )..The main point is to hire a motorbike at Kyrgyztan...does anybody know if it is possible??
