KKH from Kashgar to Gilgit end of July 2014
 

I am seeking travellers who would be interested in sharing costs for guides and other fees to cross into Pakistan via Karakorum Highway possibly the last week of July 2014. Leaving here in Germany by May 20th. Provided with Visas for all the "Stan" Countries and expecting my Iran Visa any day now...I am aiming for Amritsar in India by the beginning of August...who else is travelling that way?!
Come on people, I can't be the only one trying to reach India around August.

When I did this route in 2012 with 9 other bikes.. we had to get everything confirmed with the agency 2 or 3 (sorry can't remember which) months before the entry date. I think this was stipulated by the Chinese Authorities..

double check with the agencies you are contacting what the final deadline for booking is..

Still seeking travelers to reach India in August via KKH coming from China...I leave Turkey on the 22nd of June to Iran and would still be very grateful to find people that are interested to share cost for the northern route via the Stan countries to reach India in August 2014...cheers Dr.Notch
