Laredo TX to Panama

I'm going from Phoenix(late march) -> border MX(1.april) -> Panama(leaving on boat (16 may)
It would be very nice to have a companion for some of the way. If your not already through MX buy the time i hit US.:scooter:

It's a shame our paths won't cross, as I'm due to be back work at the beginning of April.

Btw I'm sure i will pass San Miguel de allende also is it a nice place? Do you have any recommendation to hostels/camping?

I only spent a night in San Miguel and really can't recommend a place to stay but if you travel 1 hour west to Guanajuato (which is even better) I recommend the Hostel de la Angel at Positivos#17; it's a bitch to get to with all the one way streets but you can get your own room for 200 pesos and they let you bring your bike into the lobby at night; I met lots of other travellers there.
