Limestone Loop, Vietnam: December 21-24th
 

Hey everyone. I have finally gotten my touring gear for my new Wuyang Honda LY125 and am itching to take it all for a test drive. I live in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam and will plan on doing the upcoming trip from December 21-24.

Day 1: Thanh Hoa - Mai Chau

Day 2: Mai Chau - Quan Song

Day 3: Quan Song - Pu Luong (Short day, i've already been to Pu Luong but want to explore around a bit more.).

Day 4: Pu Luong to Thanh Hoa.

I figure a lot of people probably live in Hanoi in this part of the world, so if you want to cruise down on day 1 to meet in Mai Chau and do the "Laos Loop" I'm happy to have some company. I'm doing a rough alternate of this route from Vietnam coracle, looking forward to any interested travelers! Cheers yall.

Can't join you on your trip unfortunately as I only arrive by air in Hanoi in the second week of January. Very likely I'll buy a scooter and put it and me on the train to HCMC before riding S to N for 3 months with side trips/ visa runs to Cambodia and Laos. Going to spend the tet holidays on an island in the south.

(I've been spending a lot of time on the Vietnam Coracle website. It looks excellent and has made my planning so much easier).

Vietnam Coracle is definitely one the best resources for researching tours.

I spend a month in Northern Vietnam and covered North East, Extreme North working anti-clockwise in November 2022.
Almost 3 weeks on the XR150.
My last town/city was Ha Giang.

Am going back to Hanoi again to complete the North West in May 2023.
