May/June 2018 UK visit (or from El Obelisco Porteño to the Ace Café and beyond...)
YES, this time our very postponed trip to UK is coming true, see old post if you like:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...giesland-62825 We bought the tickets some days ago!!! We will arrive to Heathrow on May 17th and will be back in BA ready for work again on July 2nd. (And before someone ask, we will be able to manage some work from distance when at the road) We have chosen these weeks as usually we aren’t very busy and would like to go as far to visit Scotland, Wales, England and maybe if we can (about time) Ireland. We wold like to visit nice places, ride scenic or charming roads and visit some friends. We will attend the HUBBUK Meeting at Baskerville From June 14th to the 17th. We hope we will meet there lots of old friends and new ones. We are not taking a bike over… so this is something we are working on to solve in the next weeks. There are some offers, but have to resolve regarding papers and insurance for a foreigner on an International Driving Permit. We are open to any offer, advise or suggestion on these subjects…. As before, this post is to know who will be around, tell you that we really would like to see you, and visit that place we hear so many great stories about. Any advice will be more than welcome, places must be visited, roads.... anything you think we should know. This time things will be in the opposite, we will be the guest and you the host. Happy to meet up with you on your travels whilst here in the UK, and if you need a bed for a night or two let me know, Im a Scots chap living in Yorkshire so can give you lots of ideas, esp Scotland, bikers paradise (im biased lol). You can give me some advice too, I plan to visit BA too in the near future. Regards Peter |
