My plans may have changed and would be able to leave earlier than expected, possibly by late February.

Mexico 2015
 

My plans are in flux. I am still planning on leaving within the next two months. I don't have a hard date. I will be leaving from the Philadelphia, PA. I need to settle a couple of things then I will be off.

I plan to cross at Eagle Pass. Where are you leaving from?

Rolling away from Connecticut in 2 weeks (hopefully) . Anyone going to be on the road towards Mexico then?

Currently in Tucson, AZ. Just about 75 miles north of the border.
May be able to leave late February, early March.
Love the idea of seeing copper canyon.

We started out from New York in July 2014 on XT250's, we came down through Baja and Mexico and are now in Yukutan.

We came from Mazatlan, Puerta Vallarta, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Palenque, Chitchen Itza, now in Tulum.

A little too far west for me, unfortunately. I'm buzzing through Mexico this time to get to Guatemala be begin school. Will be taking a leisurely pace through Mexico on my return trip in July.

My plans are solidifying: Heading to Traveler's Meeting in Virginia beginning of April. From there either continuing south to Mexico or return to Philly to finish closing my house. Must be in Tlaquepaque first week of June. Anyone want to ride south?

I'll be on the move from western Guate 2nd week in June. Headed to Honduras to visit friends.

My KLR is pretty much ready. Again, from the New Orleans area and my ride dates are flexible. Ready as soon as I can get my IRS tax forms filed, hopefully by early March. Appreciate the responses above and will be checking back in on a regular basis. My thoughts are to the Copper Canyon areas; to Mazatlan and lots of the smaller towns between here and there. This will be my first trip on a bike and would obviously like to be with someone with experience. My Spanish is very limited, but I'm studying. At best, very basic. Might do some together and then split and then meet back up if destination priorities are different. From a safety standpoint, prefer to ride with another. I am a budget, but it'll bend some. Open to camping where safe, hostels, etc. If interested, please let me know. Good to see Kintuck on the site.
