well i rode in to Guaymas this evening from el paso. also headed south like a lot of us. maybe I will catch up with some of you in the next few days.

I am leaving Denver on 09/16 should be crossing the border on 09/18 its el paso safe to cross??? I'm looking to meet up with somebody and keep heading south...:mchappy:

I'm currently in Santa Rosalia on the Baja peninsular, catching the ferry to the mainland tomorrow then heading for Copper Canyon and then south.

hi crossing into guatemala on thursday and then spending some time in xela, beffore moving on, if any of you other riders get here soon, let me know, might make a big sweep across guatemala instead of going straight to el salvador?

:(I just spent 5 weeks there and I thought I liked it until I got to El Salvador.
I'm in Nicaragua now, like it here too but enjoyed El Salvador a little more.
While in Xela, I'd recommend eating at Sabor India near Central, really great food.

Can you recommend good hotels in El Salvador or Nicaragua? I will be there in about three weeks.

will be in hermosillo on friday 18th.... and then probably guaymos on the 19th...making our way to copper canyon eventually....
