Morocco to Cape Town - Feb 2010
 

Hi all,

The new decade is here and I am looking for anyone who is going to be heading down the west coast of Africa from about the end of Jan onwards - 2010.

I am in Marocco at the mo, have the Mauri visa and am waiting for a parcel from home before starting off on the trip down south. Plan is to basically go from Mauri, Senegal, Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo...etc...with a few detours on the way.

Was only going to go to Dakar, but have changed my mind and am taking a detour back home! :mchappy:

If anyone is around and fancies some company at any point, drop me a line on HU or at hans_helbig@hotmail.com and we can meet up, share stories and enjoy the road.

Also, I am looking for some charities or similar to help out on the way so if anyone has any they know of let me know. I am a quick learner and happy to do anything from washing up to filling in paperwork and everything in between. As it's all last minute I need some pointers... :confused1:

I am in Marrakesh, had a half-baked plan to head towards Senegal but have been halted at the mo waiting for a new radiator fan switch and need to be in spain by mid feb ideally… would be great to hook up, have been having some great times riding around solo, but company would be good to and perhaps encourage some more adventurous off roading if you fancy it?
