Morocco at short notice...Feb/March 2017
 

Hi folks,
Short notice I know.....
Due to work commitments (or lack of them), I have decided to head to Morocco starting 14th March from Portsmouth.
I intend to meander down Spain to Algeciras for the ferry to Tangier Med.
Then do approx. 12 days or so visiting the places we all read about on these forums...no fixed itinerary as yet, that's the whole point, nothing 'cast in stone'
My comments are:
Is this time of year ok to do this? (I wanted to avoid too much heat to enjoy the riding).
Anyone else planning to be there at this time, or fancy the idea?
Any other advice gratefully received?
I've done loads of European touring but always wanted to see Maroc.
Bike this trip will be Africa Twin (CRF)

Hi never been abroad on bike would be interested in going. Later on in march would better for me, use to off ride years ago Ride a bmw sertao now but just a bought xr400 for doing some sort of trip like this but would need to kit either bike out for trip
