My Algarve adventure needs help!
 

hi all
I'm a fairly new biker on a fairly new bike. I've shipped my beautiful honda NC700S
to the Algarve for winter.
I'm seeking locals to maybe show me around take me on a ride and show me the hidden Algarve.
Add to my adventure. I'm a 50 something lone traveller and I'd love to make new friends.
can you help?

I go twice a year. Where about in the Algarve are you staying? It can get wet in the winter. But nothing like the UK winters. You will need to pack a few warm thing's. Should be that you can ride just about every day.

I'm near albuferia. I come every winter for 2 or 3 months but this is the first year I've brought a bike. I'm trying to find someone or several someone's to ride locally with they will know the area I hope.

I stay in Villamoura for a month to six week. Would like to stay longer, but the UK pull's me back for one thing or another. Could try the bike club In Faro. May be they could hook you up with a few riders. Pity you are a girl, or I would have asked about sharing a flat I rent in the winter.

Jacqui in my experience you will have no trouble finding people to ride with as a lone traveller, it just happens when you are on your own. Just ride the coast road, spot a group of bikes, pull up and park. Within 2mins you will be chatting making new friends. I'll bet you a tenner it works !
