Travel in Namibia in November 2011
Hi - myself and three friends all on Tenere 660's are travelling from Nairobi to Capetown 6th Nov to 12th Dec 2011. We'll be in Namibia early December - how hot is it? Someone has told us it is life threatening - the heat - is it that bad?We'd really appreciate some advice on routes places to see etc. Look forward to reply. Aitch

In December Namibia can get quite hot in the central area of the country.
Is not impossible but just make sure you plan correctly the distances for water and fuel. I will be from August 2011 managing a lodge in the Caprivi region. It's the door to Namibia from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Is on the C49 the from Katima Mulilo to Kongola. Is a tented Lodge on the border of the Mamili national park. bikers welcome (call when in Sangwali village) the last 10 km could be full of Elephants! Nkasa Lupala tented lodge |
