Need travel partner from Hanoi to HMC, Vietnam ASAP

My name is Michael and I am currently staying in Hanoi at Central Backpackers Hostel and am looking to buy a Honda Win or Minsk and make the journey from Hanoi down the coastline to HMC. I have heard amazing stories about it and that the people are incredibly nice and welcoming in the villages on the way. Would you mind keeping us updated on how you go with buying, registering the Wave and details of the trip. Am hoping to do similar trip in the future,

I dont know why i said Honda Wave earlier... whoops! I will be purchasing either a Honda Win, a Minsk or a Honda Custom for the ride.. I will not be scootering.

I will let you know how the buying process goes however. All i will be doing is obtaining the registration for the bike and hopefully everything will go right (cross my fingers).
