Netherlands to Singapore
Thinking of riding from Netherlands to Singapore probably 2022 , hopefully pandemic is in control by than. Anybody out there with similar plans, would be happy to catch up.
Looking forward for any reply ! Looking into Insurance to cover my motorbike for countries which aren't covered by the green card. Anybody have some advise on how to proceed with insurance? |
Hello from Sweden...
Sounds like a good trip. I did a trip from Uk to Malaysia 10 years ago on a 1200gs. Always wanted to redo the same trip but taking a different route and approach , but this time with my KTM or a 4x4 What is your plan? routes? |

I'm interested. I was thinking of going the other way, since I'm in Hawaii, but, it's about the same either way. Were you thinking of going through China.

quite nibble. But most travellers I met on rode were riding smaller bikes , African twins, or 800gs even a 50cc Vespa !! So it really does not matter what vechicle you choose as long as you can handle it on and off road and pick it up when its upside down. |
We did start planning, going east by 4x4.

Hopefully we can do China in 10 Years without that much hassle by our own car.. Currently I think also at 2022, we can be happy when the blue route will be possible... Surfy |
Nice route pretty much the route I had planed but I wanted to travel via the entire lenght of the pamir highway. Dushanbe up to Osh then pass in quick into China then up to Mongolia.
Last time I went via Ukrain, Russia, Kazakstan ,kyrgystan to China via Turugart Pass to Kashgar then down to Khunjerab pass followed the karokorom highway all the way down to islamabad. This route was by far the absolut Beautiful part of my entire trip. The chinese fee was expensive 4000 USD and I found 6 travellers on this site and we shared the cost. |
Hi
I may be looking at this route or something very similar. All depends on what’s happening etc. Just looking at routes and options |
