Hi there,
I've just moved here, unfortunately I cannot answer your question just now but have posted a link to the ROP where you may find the answer or at least get some help.
Something to be aware of is the traffic laws are very strict here, run a red.......2 days in jail, exceed 160 km/ph(I think)........ 2 days in jail!

Sounds interesting. I was in Oman in December for some days with family - you will love the country I think. In 2017 or 18 I would like to do something similar to your planned trip with motorcycle. So ride report would be great after you are back.
Is it possible to know more about the motorcycle shipping method /company? The price looks attractive.
