Santa Fe to Baton Rouge
 

Hola,
First off I am new to this list. A recent change of motorcycles means different focus on riding.
Taking a trip from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in mid April.
I was thinking of traveling though northern Mexico or a little exploration of Texas along the way.
I have been perusing some mapping software and books but I would welcome any advice on locations that I should see while I am in that neck of the woods...er desert. I haven’t set a definite route yet as I would like some feedback and opinions.
I will be traveling alone and wouldn’t mind meeting up for a cup of joe or some first hand local knowledge along the way.
