Santaigo to Peru - late Sep 2015 - tracks/wild camping - any one in?
 

Hi all,

I fly out to Santiago next week. I want to leave Santiago around the 25th, give or take a few days. I am riding a Tornado XR250. I go slow and take small roads. I'm in no rush but would like to be in Peru sooner than later. I want to drive straight up to Peru in around 7-8 days avoiding the 5 as much as possible. I am fully equiped for wildcamping and that takes preference. I won't pay to camp unless I have too. I might enter Peru by going through Bolivia via La Paz, taking the Arica/La Paz backroad. Like I say, I'm flexible.

Anyone interested or even just to meet for a beer in Santiago let me know! I land on the 16th :)

This is my proposed route then after that maybe the 5 until I can join the 1 (coastal route) to Arica.
