Heading South
I am leaving from Edmonton, Alberta in the beginning of September and heading to South America as well. I have been looking for some people to ride with for awhile. I was planning on taking the Baja Peninsula route. It appears there's a couple people heading that way. If your interested in riding together please email me at muffalo@hotmail.com. My name is Jesse. Thanks

Riding home to Seattle
Hi guys,
I'm riding from Ushuaia to Seattle right now. In Peru at the moment, but planning on being back home by mid September (Sept 14 at the latest!). Let me know if you want to meet up for a drink and talk about the upcoming road! Best, Elisa Travelbugblues |
Ushuaia to Seattle :)
I'll be arriving home (to Seattle) from my big Latin America trip in late August or early Sept. Would love to meet up with anyone heading south!

I will be in Seattle on 5 Sept at the MS office. My next meeting is 8 Sept at the Portland MS office. My friend and I are looking for a couch/floor/ company for Sept 5 and/maybe Sept 6 Would love to talk riding with you. Garry www.AmazingRideforMS.ca |
I will be in the Seattle area by mid Sep 2015, coming from Alaska and heading to Panama (and hopefully further south in SA). I am planning to enter into Mexico by no early than mid October (IMO, no big incentive to get there much earlier because of the rainy season in Central America). I will be in a R1200 GSA, and most likely will be with someone else on a Yamaha Super Tenere up to Mexico City. More details of my trip on The Americas: Top to Bottom (note however that, in spite of the info posted on the site, I have not discarded going S in Mexico through Cabo & then the ferry). Cheers.

I was looking on crossing Canada before to go south or go directly from Montréal. If that can be possible, I would like to meet and start it. Maybe we can catch up with anyone else. Leaving in august from Montreal on a DR650, I go where the adventure is. You guys can write me at : charles.bonus.125@hotmail.ca |

Hey Roland- that might work for me- how long do you plan on taking to travel down the west coast of USA? I'm hoping to leave San Diego for Baja around October 19th- but nothing is set in stone.

Hi Motobird,
well tough to say. I do Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Fairbanks, Deadhorse, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seattle/Vancouver in about 6-7 weeks, I estimate that I need a break then. Although by bike is a great geard up Triumph Tiger Explorer MY12 it needs a service by then. So to be honnest, 19 Oct in San Diego will be tough. I dont want to rush after Seattle. I already hate myself not to have started earlier, but I need to rush now to be back from Purdahoe Bay before winter arrives. I am Native German, (speaking English, Spanish, French and little Portuguese) and look for other bikers who might join for the one or other stage. Highlights there are many; lets do one by one. Roland @mbgerzina: I am 2-3 months ahead of you if you leave early 2015 from New orleans. Lets stay tuned. Who knows where I will get stuck. |
Jamie, My bike lands in LA from Auz in mid october. I have a loose plan & timeframe to Ushuaia. If you or anyone else are crossing the Mexican border round mid october, we could maybe travel together for a while. Hugh
