Anybody travelling in South Africa on a bike ??

Im in Joburg at the moment - getting a motorcycle within the next few days then off i go : S.A -> Namibia-> Botswana-> Zimbabwe and continuing north ...

planning for about 6 months

looking for tripmates for parts of the trip / all of it ...

I plan to do it from May onwards...

Hi Mega... We have just arrived in Arusha. Hopefully can catchup after we go through Burundi and Rwanda. Huge possibility that we will be in Uganda around May... Le me know how you feel about convoying through to Sudan.

Hi,
I'm in Jinja today, heading to Arusha/TZN this week for a 2-week-layover (for Zanzibar and Serengeti). Will start heading north from around 15 Apr, early May Sudan would therefore suit me as well! Planning to go on to Egypt and Israel for the ferry. Would be great to keep in touch and maybe meet for the Sudan part?
