Staying in Arequipa (Peru), visitors welcome !
Hola !
After exploring S.America for the last eight months I've decided to stay in Peru, possibly forever. If you're passing this way & fancy a beer or need help with anything let me know. Cheers ! ------------------ Last seen in S.America, missing presumed fed. |
Hola Happy Hacker!
I'm in Colombia right now, hidding down south. I have to look where Arequipa is but everything is possible and may be i come along with my African Twin! Enjoy your time in Peru and i'm looking forward to drink a beer with you! Albert |
Howdy! My girlfreind and I are waiting for moto parts for the F650's in Chachapoyas, then heading south...we always fancy a beer! Would also like to talk to you about maps and roads and the other usual stuff!

'Hola' to everyone who visited over the last couple of months in Arequipa.
We're leaving on Oct-12th & making our way to the meeting in Viedma, so maybe we'll catch up with you or see you there. I'll be back in Arequipa for January. ------------------ Last seen in S.America, missing presumed fed. http://worldtour.overpro.co.uk http://www.motodogging.com |

"Stay in Peru forever..." I wonder what made you (both of you?) take that decision; why not Chile per say?
And, about making a living, although much easier there than here (proverbial US), are you able to really get used to the way of life there? How about Brazil, per say... I know Arequipa is known as the city of eternal spring and more, but since I may be considering abandoning the US to live elsewhere in the Americas, I'm really curious about making a living (kind of anyway), and getting used to live there. Loving it? Having deep 2nd thoughts, between beers, per say? Best wishes! Dario |
Try Argentina. I arrived in 2002 and have not left yet. It is cheap and the people are wonderful. About adapting to living outside the US it depends on you not the culture you pick. It can be inlightning and frustrating as well. That is the case no matter where you are. I am in Cal for the holidays you can contact me direct ay poelcat@yahoo.com
