Thailand -> Myanmar -> India July/August 2016
 

Hi all

The title says it all. I'm a solo rider planning to cross Myanmar in late July or early August of 2016. I am looking for a fast crossing to keep the costs low.

I'm on two wheels: a Keeway TX200. Never heard of it? Never mind. ;)

I'll be leaving from KL between January 16 and 19. Heading straight up to India!

I would like to cross myanmar from india in october/november in order to head for thailand. Do you know if its possible that way? Are there any regulations? Where should I cross the border.

There seem to be plenty of people crossing from India to Thailand. More than are heading in the direction I am. Same companies I suspect. Sorry I can't help with the border crossings.

There are plenty of regulations. HUBB has a few ride reports from people.

Hey, as part of my world tour for DiceTravels, I'm also heading through Myanmar into India about the same time. What are you doing in the way of boarder crossings and paperwork to get your bike into Myanmar and India.

I'm about to check some rider reports and see what else I can find. Also about to book some time at the Embassy in BKK to see what they know.
