Trans America Trail (USA) Summer 2002
 
Roughing out plans to ride TAT from Tennesee to Oregon sometime in summer 2002. Currently two riders; R100GS (Chicago) and TransAlp (NY).
The TAT is an off-road trail! http://www.transamtrail.com
Also interested in hearing from anyone who has done all or parts of the TAT.

How rough of a trail is it? I am planning a trip around North America this summer. I am a new rider...and will be crusing around on a 1971 honda CT90 that I am rebuilding. top speed of 55mph, but I plan on sticking to trails and dirt roads whenever possible. I would be interested in company though.
