UK - Eastern Europe-Bulgaria spring-summer 17
 

A test run for the longer trip in near future. Have 3 months from May to Sep this year and will decide when after any responses. Sticking to tarmac with odd gravel road riding KTM 1190R. Have toured all west and south Europe over last 30 years and will now investigate to Russian border and south to Bulgaria.
Will only use B&B or hotels if conditions dictate as a beer or two planning tomorrow in camp is preferred.
Ex military and easy going, the goal is to experience the culture and meet up with other bikers en-route whilst avoiding motorways unless distance is needed. So, if you have a luggage carrying tourer, time to go then lets put something together .

iplanning similar tour beginning of may 2017 for 3 weeks, i will take the highway till Croatia after there curved ways
i will cross Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland an back to home on German highway.
maybe we can cross our ways somewhere

I've got to make a quick run over about 5 days from northern Holland to Bulgaria. Planning on Villa Loewenherz the first night, hitting Sedlec Ossuary in Czech the next day and camping nearby. Following day to Bodjnice and on to Budapest. Day after riding down to see Bran Castle in Romania and the last day down through Shipka Pass in Bulgaria into Plovdiv.


Unfortunately I'll be on some highways since my schedule isn't as flexible as I would like it to be. If any of that sounds good to you let me know. I'm between work events and will be leaving sometime between 1-5 May.
