Uk to somewhere Jan/Feb 2016
 

Mature expat returning from Portugal seeking bike adventure! Newly qualified and raring to go......somewhere! Seeking ideas and company to spend good time away exploring the world. I dont really have any restrictions on how long or how far but perhaps 6 months to a year might be a decent option. Probably expect to start with Europe and move on from there. As I say open to all options but just want to get going asap!

From what I have read in HUBB I expect to purchase a Vstrom 650. I like the look of it and will appreciate the extra comfort over the off-road bulletproof-ness of the DR. It seems best to get a few mods done in preparation as opposed to seeking out the latest adventure bike in the range which has a lot of expensive kit included.

It would be nice if there is someone with some experience, as I have none, but not essential.
