uk to timbucto leaving dec 20th
 

hi all travelling down to timbucto starting on the 20th dec, calais through france and spain to gib, the morocco, western sahara, mauratainia R2 on into mali. wondering if anyone heading same way at this time. Howard

I am doing the same trip but in the other direction ;) starting in benin, travelling through burkina, mali, senegal, mauretanie,morocco and up north through europe back to germany...
are you also taking the motorcycle to go back? if so maybe we could meet up somewhere :)

I suppose you are reading the travel advisories for this area (Northern Mali)?
