Wondering if there are any like-minded bikers out there, planning a trip in the new year to escape the winter and to have a bit of an adventure?

Main focus is 4 music festivals in February in several different 'desert' countries...desert 'blues' etc

Have been in the area b4 on a truck but want to do it on XT 600Give me a call or post here.

Hummmm... hope those are not the ones in Mali- do read up on International news as it would be very optimistic if these still took place next year in view of what has and still is happening out there ( IMHO)

Cheers Bertrand...am aware of issues in Mali. This 'caravan' of 4 festivals is a replacement for the 'Festival of the desert' which happens each year just outside Timbucktou.
The music festivals are in Mauritania, Birkino Faso and in 'safe' parts of Mali, well away from the 'troubles'. I am going to 'shadow' a group travelling with the UK tour company 'From here to Timbucktou' for the month this 'caravan' will be going from place to place.

I also have been to Maroc 3 times and would like now to some of the off-road tracks in Chriss Scotts books.
