Hi guys I'm in the planning stage of a west coast of african l Will be leaving from Switzerland catching the ferry in Genoa Italy to Morocco then down to South Africa,I'd hopefully stop on the way down to do some work away projects.I think I will be doing this around May next year (2018) for around 6 months.
Is there anyone else planning to travel around that time?

Hi Gary - I am a Canadian, in Ottawa Ontario who is planning to ride Morocco in March of 2018, and I would also really like to visit Namibia and Zambia.

I am in the very, very early planning stages and have not yet even decided if I am going to ship my 2014 V-Strom 1000 from Canada OR fly over and purchase there.
Obviously I would like to ride my bike . . . it is paid for after all. . .

A friend plans on meeting me in Morocco but we are not entirely sure of the timing yet.

I know this doesn't really answer your question - but keep me in mind as things firm up. March 2018 will be the beginning of 24 months travelling the world by motorcycle - I am really flexible about schedules, lol

Hi Joe all sounds good.I'll be going on my F650gs Dakar.Namibia is great I have been there alot but in 4x4's.I have a lote contacts there if I can help just ask.I am also in the planning stage So stay in touch and we see where it leads us.
