Allen and Colin made it to Mongolia and decided to end the trip there as they were having some problems with the bikes (Allens´ gearbox i think) and there was the unlikelyhood of getting into China also. They sold the bikes in UB and are now back in the UK, Colin came to the UK HUBB meeting with me.
The third guy (John?) was heading up through Russia i think. I´ll email Colin and tell him to post something. Sean |

sorry everyone
Well, as Sean put it above, Allen and I got to UB and because of Allens bike he decided to come home, because of the China thing and hassles getting across it by any other means i decided to sell the bike in UB to a local and fly home.
While in Mongolia we met up with another English guy Mark, who was basically doing 'the long way round revisited' and John decided to join him back into Russia and across to the states where they are now. Apologies to everyone who was worried about us, didn't know you cared, but Allen and i are safe back in Milton Keynes and you can catch up with John and Mark at www.etribes.com/markstowe The website was supposed to have been updated on our return to the UK by Allen but looks like i shall have to do it myself...... thanks for looking and for those interested, Kay (gf) and I are now thinking of doing a rtw in the not to distant future. While at the UK meeting in Derby i fell in love with the Dakar and Kay fell in love with another F650 so look like they are the bike of choice for the future. thanks for looking and best regards to all cheers Colin |
