Zambia to Lake Tanganyka in Congo, ferry to Rwanda

I am biking north from Pretoria in Oct. and looking at Moz, Malawi, Zambia, some of Congo to Lake Tang. into Rwanda and back to SA thru Zimbabwe...

Anyone have experience with that part of Congo from Zambia to Lake Tang. and up to Rwanda by ferry?

I just returned from a 4 month trip in Africa and itching for some more.
