Zweirrad Enduro Tour Marokko, Mauretanien Wildcamping
 

Hallo, an alle, ich bin neu hier im Forum.

Kurz zu mir, ich bin ein junger Zweiradmechaniker-Meister (Bj.98) der seit 4 Jahren ein wenig Offroad Erfahrung gesammelt hat mit einer AJP PR4 240. Spreche fließend Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch, ein bisschen Spanisch auch.

Anfang des Jahres habe ich mir eine WR250R zugelegt mit der ich den TET Sektion 13 in 2 Tagen gefahren bin mit Wildcamping. Und einen Tag Enduro durch die Vogesen, welcher deutlich anspruchsvoller war als der TET.

Plane die Reise schon länger, habe das AMH von Chriss Scott gelesen und die Nötigen Impfungen Tollwut,Typhus
,... machen lassen.

Habe mich aber kurzfristig entschieden eine DR 650SE zu kaufen und damit zu fahren, rüste sie aktuell noch um.

Anfang November bis Mitte/Ende Dezember soll die Reise losgehen. In der ersten Woche geht es mit dem Anhänger der noch 2 Plätze frei hat von Saarbrücken nach Spanien (Benicarlo) dort bleibt der Hänger bei einem Freund stehen.

Dann geht es auf eigener Achse über den TET nach Gibraltar und von dort mit der Fähre nach Tanger. Ab da soll es in den Atlas gehen abhängig vom Wetter, gemischt sollen die Übernachtungen Wild oder bei schlechtem Wetter im Hotel/AirBNB Stattfinden.

Wenn genug Zeit ist, soll es noch nach Mauretanien gehen habe aber Bedenken wegen der politischen Situation in der Westsahara.
Suche jemanden mit ähnlichen Vorstellungen was so eine Reise betrifft, deshalb so ausführlich, ein Erstgespräch per Telefon halte ich für essentiell.

Ansonsten würde ich mich auch über Tipps für meine erste Marokko Reise freuen :)

The political situation in Western Sahara is not a problem for genuine travellers, but you are restricted to routes fairly close to the Atlantic coast.

However... it is an awfully long way to ride to Mauritania, and once there, to get to somewhere interesting—more than 4,000km for the return trip from Guelmim.

You will be much better advised to spend the time in Morocco, there's enough there for months of exploration. One favourite area for me is Tafraoute in the Anti Atlas mountains.

Two-wheel Enduro Tour Morocco, Mauritania Wild Camping
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum.

A little about me: I'm a young master motorcycle mechanic (model 1998) who has been gaining a little off-road experience with an AJP PR4 240 for 4 years. I speak fluent German, English and French, and a little Spanish too.

At the beginning of the year I bought a WR250R with which I rode the TET section 13 in 2 days with wild camping. And a day of enduro through the Vosges, which was much more demanding than the TET. I've been planning the trip for a while, read the AMH by Chriss Scott and had the necessary vaccinations for rabies, typhoid , etc. But I decided at short notice to buy a DR 650SE and ride it, and am currently converting it.

The trip is due to start at the beginning of November to mid/end of December. In the first week we will be going with the trailer, which still has two free spaces, from Saarbrücken to Spain (Benicarlo), where the trailer will stay with a friend. Then we will be going under our own steam over the TET to Gibraltar and from there by ferry to Tangier. From there we will be heading to the Atlas, depending on the weather. We will be staying in the wild or in a hotel/AirBNB if the weather is bad.

If we have enough time, we will also be going to Mauritania, but I am concerned about the political situation in Western Sahara. I am looking for someone with similar ideas about a trip like this, which is why I am so detailed. I think an initial telephone conversation is essential. I was thinking about this (4000km Westsahara borenes), maybe I underestimate the size and amount of things to see in Morocco.
I now added the Tafraoute to my list of things to see.
