12 month TIP for South Africa
 

Crossing from the Noordoewer, Namibia to Vioolsdrif, South Africa border I got a 12 month South African TIP for no cost that allows me to keep my vehicle for 12 months in any SACU country (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland). I did have to ask for this as they usually issue a 6 month one.
