3rd party insurance in DRC and Angola
 

What are 3rd party insurance requirements for DRC and Angola? Where do you buy it and how much it costs? I am planning to spend 2 days in DRC and 5 days in Angola.

I don't remember there being any requirements in Angola or DRC when we were there (early 2008). Generally, if a country requires insurance, they make a point of trying to sell it to you as you cross the border.

No one asked for it and nobody sold it. So don't hit anything!

In Angola they only sell insurance yearly, so use that in your defense if you hit something ;-)

Never heard of anybody being hassled about it etc
